Icons - Windows to Eternity

This is a precious moment of St Joseph and Jesus -
the icon is the moment when Joseph and Jesus are returning home
from the Temple and Jesus catches sight of the Temple - the Father's House - in the distance behind them.
I love this Icon of  Divine Silence.
It is the image of Christ before the creation and after the Resurrection.

Icon of St Michael the Archangel.

Advanced Icon Painting Workshop in Melbourne

In January 2015 I attended the Advanced Icon Painting Workshop in Melbourne Australia conducted by Philip Davydov. I was a wonderful experience. I learnt so much with Philip's method of teaching and nurturing each one of us.

St Clement's Retreat and Conference Centre, Galong NSW. Eat, Paint, Pray

We had a wonderful weekend at St Clement's Galong.
Nine people join me and we prayed together, ate together and painted together.
It was inspiring being with other like minded people. Painting, talking, sharing and having fun doing what we are passionate about - painting.
We had peaceful pauses for quiet and space with the Lord.
I loved standing by the fish pond, listening to the fountain trickling - and recalled the scripture - Deep Calls to Deep. The Lord was calling to me to rest on Him
my Rock,
my hiding place,
my shelter from the storm.
Peace and Joy be with you always.
